Reba McEntire Is Brought to Tears by This ‘Happy’s Place’ News

Happy’s Place fans, this is the update you’ve been waiting for! Reba McEntire’s NBC sitcom has officially been renewed for a second season, and the news had members of the cast in tears.

Reba shared a video on Instagram giving the update. In the clip, Reba gathers her castmates in the kitchen and they hold hands as she tells them, “We got picked up for a second season.” There are whoops, applause, tears, and hugs at the news. Melissa Peterman is seen crying, and Reba embraces real-life boyfriend Rex Linn.

Reba turns to the camera and says, “Tears of joy. We got picked up for a second season. They told us right before we’re about to go on to do the last show of the first season. What a gift, thank you lord, thank you lord. Woo!”

The team then joins together for an enthusiastic, “1, 2, 3, let’s have fun!” followed by Reba saying, “We can’t wait to get back in this kitchen for season 2 of Happy’s Place.”

Fans shared the cast’s excitement for the renewal news. They left messages like, “I am soooooo happy…….LOVE LOVE this show, the entire cast work so well together.
