
Ayesha Howard has exclusively addressed a viral rumor alleging Anthony Edwards requested to pay 18 years of child support upfront amid their court battle.
On Monday, March 31, a user on X, formerly known as Twitter, @PrincessM___, shared a message about Edwards which appeared to spark the subsequent rumor. To date, the tweet has garnered over 1.3 million views and reads, “Anthony Edwards’s really told the judge he wanna pay the whole 18 years of child support upfront is absolutely insane he hates that girl omfg… like the WHOLE 18 years in 1 Payment? He wants that s**t to be over with immediately…”
By Wednesday, April 2, the rumor spread like wildfire and even sparked another X user to allege Edwards “confidently paid” over $1.8 million in the support.
Amid the chatter, Howard took to her Instagram Story to share two posts about “lies” and rumors.”
“Where do these lies be coming from,” she wrote before posting another text photo that read. “You ever heard a rumour about yourself and actually wanted to hear more Like no way…… what did I do next?”
On Wednesday, April 2, The Shade Room‘s Social Media Manager Brianne Deville posted Howard’s exclusive reaction to the ongoing rumor. Ultimately, the mother of two set the record straight on the matter.
“There are no court documents, motions, or proceedings that have occurred, nor have I been offered or agreed to such terms,” she stated.
