Dyan Cannon was spotted out and about running errands in Los Angeles just days after recent revelations about her relationship with ex-husband Cary Grant.
The Pink Panther star oozed glamour as she headed out for the day dressed in a black trouser suit layered over a black roll neck top. She added a pair of large black heart shaped sunglasses hooked over the neck of her top.
Dyan, 86, wore her hair in her trademark blonde curls and added a touch of soft glamorous makeup to complete her look. The outing comes after she recently shared with Page Six how she had ‘fallen in love’ with Cary again after finding some old correspondence between them.
She said: “About four months ago I was going through my safe and I found some notes from him that were so adorable, and made me understand why I fell in love with him.” Dyan was just 28 years old when she married the legendary star in 1965 when he was 61.
Dyan and Cary later welcomed their daughter Jennifer in 1966 and then they divorced two years later after a rocky marriage which saw an array of critical headlines come out about the movie star. Oscar-nominee Dyan shared some of the detauils of their marriage in her 2011 memoir Dear Cary: My Life with Cary Grant.
The book saw her highlight “fundamental problems” that occurred in their relationship including revelations about Cary criticizing her clothing and having unexpected fits of rage. She wrote: “I never knew what was going to set him off next, and when he wasn’t at work he trailed me around the house, listing my shortcomings.
