The wife of the former US President recalled that during their trip to England in 2019 they were well received; “the Queen and her family extended a warm welcome to us, treating us with the utmost hospitality“, and for that reason, “As we bid farewell to Her Majesty, we extended a cordial invitation for her return visit to the United States“.
Unfortunately Queen Elizabeth II died a few years later, so she could not meet again in the American country with the Trump family; however, Melania assured, “Our friendship with the Royal Family continues, and we exchange letters with King Charles to this day“, highlighting the good relationship they have with the monarch.
