
King Charles III and Queen Camilla Parker have officially embarked on their overseas royal tour to Italy for a four-day visit. The trip marks his first as monarch as comes just ten days after the major health scare due to the side effects from his cancer treatment.
The Monarch of the United Kingdom will become the first British Monarch to speak to Italy’s joint parliament. In addition, the King will celebrate his 20th wedding anniversary during the royal tour. What a lovely getaway!

King Charles III also planned to meet Pope Francis on April 8. However, it remains a mystery if the appointment will be carried out after the Pope recovers from a serious illness and doctors have advised rest.
Queen Camilla Parker and the King will be exploring key parts of Rome during their visit, including he famous Colosseum and the working-class district of Testaccio. A ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier will take place, followed by a joint air display by the UK’s Red Arrows and Italy’s Frecce Tricolori.
