Patsy Palmer hints at early ITV Celebrity Big Brother exit as actress admits ‘I hate conflict’

Baffled Celebrity Big Brother viewers all ask the same question about Patsy Palmer as she makes her first appearance in the Diary Room | Daily Mail Online

Patsy Palmer has sparked fears she could quit Celebrity Big Brother just one day after entering the house, admitting she struggles with conflict.

The EastEnders star, 52, made it clear she’s ready to exit at the first sign of tension among housemates.

Unlike her fiery Albert Square character Bianca Jackson, Palmer confessed she finds it difficult to cope with arguments.

Speaking to The Mirror just hours before entering the Big Brother house, she revealed: “I’m not great at conflict. I get very nervous, to be honest.”

Palmer entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on Monday night alongside 12 other famous faces.

The reality show, which returned to ITV this week, will see the celebrities living together for the next three weeks.

“I know you think because I play a character that can be fiery like Bianca that I’m somehow like that too, I’m not, I do actually hate conflict,” Palmer explained.

She hopes the atmosphere in the house will remain calm during her stay.

“I’m not expecting it because I think we’re also in a very different culture now,” she said.

Palmer believes contestants have evolved beyond shouting matches.

“I’d like to think that people have evolved to the point where if there was something bothering them, that maybe you could just have a conversation about it instead of screaming and shouting.”

The actress acknowledged everyone has limits when pushed, admitting: “Look, we all can only be pushed so much.”

Palmer reassured fans her EastEnders alter-ego won’t make an appearance.
