The resemblance is truly striking! “You’ve got very strong genes there, Piano Man 😍,” one fan reacted.

In the past, Billy Joel’s young daughters have captured viewers’ attention for their makeup choices and musical antics. But, more often than not, they draw attention to how much they resemble their father.

On October 21, 2024, Billy Joel delighted his fans by sharing Instagram photos of his youngest daughters. He revealed in the post that he and his family had gathered to see Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour. Fans quickly flocked to the comments to share their thoughts on the children.

The singer and his family posed for photos at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. The first image showed the family together, including Billy’s wife, Alexis Roderick Joel, and their daughters, Della Rose, eight, and Remy Anne, six.

The second picture featured Billy and his family posing with Taylor Swift. Seeing the musician’s young children, one fan noted, “Girls look just like daddy ,” while another added, “Oh my gosh they look so much like you wow.”

“This Joel genes are very strong [sic]. Beautiful family,” another person commented. Praising Billy, a fourth fan wrote, “Such a great Daddy to his sweet baby girls,” while an Instagram user remarked, “How Cool is that?? Btw, you’ve got very strong genes there, Piano Man. ”

In the same post featuring the little girls but shared elsewhere, a Facebook user observed, “Those girls look just like him.” Comparing Billy to another celebrity, someone else stated, “Like Bruce Willis Billy Joel has some mega strong genes [sic].”

An X user shared, “the picture of billy joel standing next to Taylor as if he’s just a fan with his daughters I’m crying they’re the sweetest [sic].” Replying to the image of the legendary singer and his daughters with Taylor, someone else remarked, “DNA did not miss.”

“He has strong genes. Most of his kids look just like him,” another person commented. For one fan, seeing so many lookalikes made them feel like they were witnessing “[A] doppelgänger double take!”

Finding the similarities amusing, an Instagrammer wrote, “Every one of his kids always get his face LOL [sic].” Billy captioned his post, noting that Taylor’s concert was held at the same venue where he and Elton John’s “Face to Face” concert set a seating record.

He revealed that Taylor’s second concert at the stadium broke the record, ushering in a new era for the venue. The artist added that he and his family were pleased to be part of making history. They also got to celebrate with Taylor’s mother.

Billy expressed his support for the younger musician, concluding, “She is showing our girls all that is possible. Onward and upward #swifties.” Showing their commitment to Taylor, Billy’s family also attended her show in Tampa, Florida, in 2023.

This outing wasn’t the first time his daughters had captured the attention of his fans. In February 2024, the celebrity attended the Grammy Awards with Alexis and their two daughters. The girls, who wore red lipstick, captivated attendees and drew comparisons to their father’s appearance.

Someone noticed that Billy’s daughters “have Joel’s eyes” and that “his genes are super strong.” Fans had mixed reactions to the girls’ makeup choices, with one person stating, “That lipstick on the daughters was too much.”

In July, the girls again stole the spotlight when their father concluded his record-breaking Madison Square Garden residency with his 150th concert. During the performance, Billy dedicated his 1986 track, “This Is the Time,” to his wife.

He sang the song while photos of his family through the years played on the screen. After his emotional performance, he explained that Alexis had requested that he perform the track.

But it was his daughters, dressed in matching pink, purple, and white striped dresses, who stole the show when they joined him on stage for hugs. At that moment, Billy was receiving a banner before performing 1978’s “My Life.”

After sitting on their father’s piano and waving to the crowd, Della Rose jumped on stage as Billy started singing his hit song. The little girl, who also danced, joined her father on the microphone at one point during the performance.

Afterward, Della Rose took over again, saying, “Thank you, Madison Square Garden,” before walking off the stage with her sister. Billy joked, “I guess it’s her life now,” before adding, “Thanks, girls!”
