Jodie Turner-Smith posted photos and videos from a mother-daughter hotel stay with her daughter Juno, 4, who she shares with ex Joshua Jackson.
Jodie Turner-Smith gave fans a rare look at her life with daughter Juno, 4—who she shares with ex Joshua Jackson—with a slideshow full of adorable mother-daughter moments.
The After Yang actress, who captioned her Jan. 31 Instagram carousel post “life round here” and location tagged The West Hollywood Edition hotel, included photos and videos of Juno swimming in a rooftop pool, walking in a party dress, running down a hotel hallway in matching bathrobes and setting up a pool table, among other things.
While Juno’s face isn’t visible in any of the content—she’s mainly shown from behind—the post was the first time Jodie has featured her daughter on her Instagram grid in several months.
The rare update comes a month after the Star Wars: The Acolyte actress accused Joshua of not paying child support amid their ongoing divorce negotiations.
In paperwork filed in December, Jodie—who filed for divorced in October 2023—said that Joshua had “promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother.”
The 38-year-old went on to request that her ex pay $8,543 “per month retroactive to the date of her initial filing,” $28,641 a month in spousal support “while their divorce is still pending” and $250,000 for attorney fees and other legal costs.
The Agency actress had previously reflected on the decision to end her marriage after 4 years.
“Sometimes things we really want to work just don’t end up working,” she told the Sunday Times last February. “And that’s OK.”
“The most important thing,” Jodie added, “is that you choose what’s healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children.”

She went on to further reflect on the introspection that led to her deciding to move on and forge a new path for herself.
“There are so many different moments in our life where we look at ourselves and say, ‘Who am I and am I being true to that?'” Jodie mused. “If the answer is no, then you have to make a move because I believe that there are visible scars from staying in places that are not good for us. And they don’t just affect us, they affect everybody around us.”
She added, “Now it’s time for a new moment for both of us. And how exciting!”

As for Joshua, 46, he recently confirmed that his house was among the many lost in the Los Angeles fires, tough he expressed gratitude that both he and Juno were safe.
“First and most importantly, all the people closest to me affected by the fire are ok,” the Dawson’s Creek alum said in the Jan. 12 statement to Deadline. “My daughter, my family, my neighbors all made it out safely. Sadly my beautiful home did not survive the fires. But today, I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the people I love.”
