Okay, I’ve had enough. Do people really not understand how tipping works?! As a waitress, I’m literally running myself ragged to make sure you have a good experience, and some of you think it’s okay to sit at a table for hours, have me bend over backward for you, and then just pay the bill and leave NOTHING? How are we supposed to survive on these wages alone? Spoiler alert: we can’t. It’s beyond selfish. If you can’t afford to tip, don’t go out to eat! We’re not here to serve you for free – we rely on tips to pay our bills. How is this still something people don’t get?!
